When I arrived in Banteay Meanchey..I knew that my life was going to be different.,but I
never knew just how beautiful it would be as well.
Having her sister bring me to her, and meeting her Mom and Dad upon arrival, they were so
kind,caring, and wonderful. To see a proud, and caring family, accepting me as though I were already a part of their family,
was the nicest gesture I have ever seen.
To invite me into their home,take care of me, and reassure me of their kindness was so comforting
in a world so far away from home.
To offer their home and hand in kindness as I waited for their daughter,was a memory to last
a lifetime.
But when I turned around and seen her standing there..as beautiful as an angel..and to see
that smile, In a moment I knew I could never again forget that moment...for as long as I live.
I had seen photos..and I knew how wonderful she was already..but nothing prepared me
for the beautiful woman I seen as I turned and seen her standing there..and for the rest of my life..I will remember
that moment in time, and I will see her in my thoughts, and in my dreams.
When I do..she will always be My Breautiful Cambodian Girl.
